About The Event
Celebrating Japanese Origami for the South West Festival of Japan let's fold some origami!
Origami is a relaxing and fun skill to learn.
Join me to learn to fold the most iconic origami, the paper crane. Then one of the simplest, fun and most versatile origami patterns, the Fortune Teller (also known as a Chatter Box).
Beth, owner of Pavlovas Garden, will help guide you through the folding process to make an origami crane using the provided patterned paper. Then to create your fortune teller and provide help with some suggestions on what to write/draw inside.
You will walk away with, not only, your beautiful paper crane and fortune teller but also the skill to make another one at home.
All materials supplied.
No experience necessary.
Recommended for all ages, including adults!
It is advised that children under the age of 5 will require a paying adult to help assist them with folding the paper.
