About The Event
🏮 Floating Lantern Ceremony update
Due to strong wind gusts, we’re unable to safely launch the lanterns today. The conditions also increase the risk of lanterns drifting into areas that could impact local wildlife, and mean the Bunbury Sea Scouts cannot proceed under their safety and environmental requirements.
The good news is that we’ve made arrangements for the lanterns to be launched tomorrow at the end of Matsuri Day, around 4:30pm.
If you’ve pre-purchased a lantern:
🏮 Decorating is available today at Hearth of Ren, 40 Wellington Street, Bunbury. (3pm - 6pm), with live music.
🏮 You can also decorate your lantern tomorrow at Matsuri Day. (Queens Gardens, Free Entry, 9:30am - 4pm)
